My sister’s consort baked a salmon. I did the rest.

Moroccan quinoa salad

roasted beet salad (not as good as yours, King Crabby – can I get the recipe? Or is it a family secret?)

cucumber salad

  1. The beet recipe is not a family recipe. I poached it from a website. I am not really sure what the recipe is anymore, but here goes…

    Roast beets in tin foil for an hour in oven at 400

    Let beets cool a bit.

    Peel and slice.

    In a bowl mix

    a bunch of white wine vinegar
    a few spoonfuls of grainy mustard
    a spoonful of honey
    some olive oil

    add beets and put in the fridge at least an hour before serving.
